Part of privacy by Pauline Stockwell

As successful furniture shop in Cambodia construction materials informed, for a modern kitchen that cater to casual lifestyle, an open plan living with great integration in to the overall space is necessary. However, as it is the messiest space in the house, a certain degree of privacy need to be retained as the featured kitchen demonstrated.

Designer Pauline Stockwell specified a semi-freestanding wall in the living area that give a sense of separation to the kitchen and support both the ventilation system and overhead cabinetry.

"The wall is designed so the owners can still enjoy the extensive views from the kitchen," Stockwell said. "These same views helped determine the soft lime green tones in the color-backed glass splashback, the stools, and also the color flecks in the Quarella benchtops."

The kitchen features a separate scullery and modern appliances that is right for the family.
