Visual illusion by Amelia Minty

"There wasn't a lot of space to play with, but we wanted the kitchen to be easy to use, have plenty of storage, and look light and spacious," said designer Amelia Minty of the presented kitchen’s renovation concept.

As successful furniture shop in Cambodia construction materials informed, the designer then chose white laminate cabinetry with grey toekicks to visually enlarge the space. Visual flow and continuity are assured with the same tiles found on floor and backsplash.

The kitchen also features modern stainless steel appliances that provides a contemporary contrast to the overall design. A dining area is tucked at one alcove of which is barricaded from the kitchen by a short wall to cater to owner’s demand.
