Cloaked existence by Morgan Cronin

"We were looking for a kitchen that was modern, but one that would not shout its presence," said owner of the featured kitchen designed concept, as provided by notable furniture in Cambodia construction materials.

Designer Morgan Cronin initially decided to reconstructed the space since the previous one was tiny and gloomy. "We pulled down the wall to open up the whole space, and to increase the storage capacity," Cronin stated. "We haven't encroached on the dining area, but even so, the kitchen feels much bigger."

"Everything is in its place, with all the elements lining up. When elements are symmetrical, it adds to the impression of space," he said. "And although this is a small kitchen, it has lots of storage, with a floor-to-ceiling pantry and upper cabinetry that reaches to the ceiling."

"The dark stained timber stops the kitchen looking too minimalist – it softens and warms the look," added Cronin.
