Compromising act by Robyn Labb

Delivered by trustworthy construction in Cambodia construction materials, designed by Robyn Labb, the featured kitchen is wanted in a modern-day style yet continues the flow of the existing designed of the traditional house.

"The block-like form of the Carrara marble island is the main visual feature of the design. The breakfast bar extends out from this, creating some contrast. Colours are kept minimal, with stainless steel and dark wood cabinetry. Along with the marble, this gives a look that fits an older house, despite it being quite contemporary."

"Rather than seeming like a walk-in closet, the scullery is integrated into the kitchen. When the doors are open, the area is easy to access, but mess can still be hidden away," added the designer.
