materials informed, with a great panoramic mountain and
seashore as outdoor backdrop, this home owners asked designer Mimmi Freebody for a design that
connected the view to their bathroom since it is a haven with the current
trend.
"We made the window larger and lowered it, then placed
the contoured, heavy-gauge steel bath beneath it," Freebody spoke.
"By sinking the bath slightly into the floor, the surround appears less
boxlike and dominant in the space. It also means that you can look out and
enjoy the view while soaking."
To match with the quiet, tranquil, and relaxing atmosphere
of the surrounding nature, the designer chose natural material palettes with
soft touch.
