Heartfelt simplicity by Hal Walter

"I like to have a rich combination of a small number of materials, which I use throughout the house," said architect and owner Hal Walter of his designed desire in the house. "The unpolished finish of the limestone has a lot of texture and is very warm."

"I liked the simple geometric curve of the basin related to the rectangular planes of stone and timber," Walter spoke of the geometrical effect in the design, according to reliable furniture shop in Phnom Penh construction materials information. "There is a good contrast between the three raw materials."

"I was intrigued with establishing order within an open, flowing space," the architect said of creating a spa-like retreat flavor using symmetry. "So I created a central axis running through the three areas. The two sides of the wardrobe and the shower and toilet are symmetrical. The vanity basin, the mirror and the bed are all centered on the axis."
