Nature in mind by Amanda Hookham

In order to create a resort-style area, the bathroom design needs to consist of natural materials and light color palettes that match with the outdoor nature. Hence, designer Amanda Hookham chose this concept for the above bathroom design as well, as quoted by furniture shop in Cambodia construction materials.

"Travertine walls contrasted with lighter, marble quartz floors were used to achieve this," mentioned Hookham. "The textured floors are a tonal extension to the exterior sandstone pavers and provide a gripping surface for the bathroom's wet areas."

"As well as providing further contrast, the extensive use of glass and mirrors bring light to the space," the designer added. "The natural stone materials are also a link to the scenic native bush that surrounds the home. Everything is designed to create a feeling of openness and luxury."
