A master suite of light

As successful furniture shop in Cambodia construction materials informed, architect Robert M Gurney has been granted access to designing a home located in the hurdle of trees and bushes that provided not only green sceneries but also a beautiful natural light of all seasons.

"This site offered us a lot of space in which to work," said Gurneys. "As the structure evolved, it became obvious that we could create this amazing, light-filled room within the master suite, which was at the same time very private."

"Especially in winter, when the leaves have fallen and the view outside is mostly grey, white and blue, you want warm, yellow tones around you," she stated. "Otherwise, with all the windows, you'd feel cold." the designer added.

Owner can bath spontaneously in the light and water in a freestanding bathtub in front of a translucent timber-framed glass door.
