A powder room with a sense of humor

According to reliable furniture shop in Phnom Penh construction materials information, designer Simon Novak has been assigned to refashion a 1920s house with the owner’s request of bringing in a playful ambience to the powder room.

"Because the powder room is so small and completely hidden away, we were able to be truly flamboyant," said Novak. "Guests have to look around for the door – then when they find it and open it, the space is revealed – it has a really dramatic effect."

In order to enrich the effect, mirror screen-printed wallpaper has been stamped with a chandelier light. All of the fixtures and finishes are smooth yet comically placed in a hide-and-seek kind of corners which further the amusement and also helps create spaciousness.
