An adjoining bathroom by Mason Cowle

Delivered by trustworthy construction in Cambodia construction materials, challenging the norm, architect Mason Cowle created a bathroom that adjoin with a bedroom in a master suite. The design was comparative to those of a luxurious resort-inspired haven for a high-end house.

"The developer wanted something a bit different to the average, suburban house," he stated. "As these houses are very narrow, the overall design needed to make an impact. It also had to reflect the resort setting. For this reason, we chose to bring the bathroom into the bedroom with a very open, flowing design."

The centerpiece of the bathroom was the elevated bathtub behind a twin set of washbasins. "Elevating the tub was a way to connect the bathroom to the view," stressed Cowle. "It also meant we could incorporate a luxurious deep tub."

"The bathroom is effectively an island within the suite, with access provided from either side," the architect added.
