"Here, there are only four steps from the bed to the
bathroom, and you walk on the same warm timber flooring rather than moving onto
cold marble." Spoke designer Maria Arango about the house design, as
quoted by successful furniture shop in Cambodia construction materials.
"I tempered the cool aesthetic with visually warm
materials. The use of beige and brown-veined travertine, for example,
complements the timber cabinetry and floors," said Arango. "I wanted
to create a sanctuary in the house, and introducing visual warmth helps to
achieve this."
Though the designer wanted to integrate the same vibe
between the chamber room and the sanctuary room, privacy was still available
for the bathroom since Arango installed a fully enclosed toilet area and wet
room for bathing and showering.
