Cassells: Material usage decides the design

Provided by notable furniture in Cambodia construction materials, designer Jewell Cassells was briefed by owner to create a stylish and secluded master bathroom that can adapt to the location’s temperature with a sense of spaciousness.
"In response to this brief, I introduced classic panel-fronted vanity cabinetry and a matching bathroom door, teamed with solid marble surfaces," informed Cassells. "The cabinetry is painted white, which is in keeping with this New England style."

"Breaking up the footprint in this way tends to square up an elongated space," stated the designer. "Similarly, I opted for a series of mirrors opposite to help segment the long run of wall space. The four framed mirrors also provide a decorative focus and, through reflections, add to the overall sense of roominess."

"Natural light from a skylight overhead and the space-efficient layout combine to create a welcoming atmosphere." Cassells concluded.
