Column-disguised powder room for convenience and privacy

Provided by notable furniture in Cambodia construction materials, with the innovative idea in mind, designer Robert Ledingham has come up with a concept of blending a guest bathroom with a decorative column in the living room.

There will be a door that face the opposite of the public spaces for privacy purpose. "However, when the curved pocket door slides shut, the powder room disappears from sight, taking on the form of a decorative column finished in rich, lustrous Madagascar veneer, an African hardwood. To complete the picture, several display niches are scalloped out of the facade. These are internally lit to highlight the objects on show." said Ledingham.

"In this dramatic powder room even the wall-hung toilet has an unexpected, albeit understated, profile," he added.
