Defying the nature




Locating in the hot area, it is extremely important that the house built to evoke a sense of coolness. Thus, leading to designer Luis Ortega and Jose Fernandez idea of providing a contemporary master suite with an artificial green scenery for a 1940s adobe-style summer house in a desert community.

"The design of the new master suite is simple and modern, to complement the rest of the house. This style also works well for the hot climate here," stated Ortega, as always reliable furniture shop in Phnom Penh construction materials.

"The wood tones and the green of the marble tie in with the colors in the rest of the house. The green is soothing and refreshing, in contrast to the heat of the desert outside. The colors, materials and simple shapes in the space add to the Zen-like atmosphere that the owners wanted," the designer added.
