Despite its nature of
being an enclosed and private area in the buildings, bathroom also need lights
from nature such as sunlight and moonlight for enjoyment and a sense of
therapeutic treatment. For instance, Steve Humpherson designed a master bathroom that adopted the
idea of bathing in natural lights.
"To allow natural light into the enclosed space, cedar
framed windows contain obscure glass on the gap between the main house and the
protruding wall," stated the designer, according to reliable
furniture shop in Phnom Penh construction
materials information.
The windows were also
installed above the bathtub that give a peek in the natural light without
losing the privacy when bathing. Besides the windows, the bathroom also had mosaic
wall tiles that caught the outdoor light. The designer chose symmetry as the
basic approach of the bathroom fittings and using black floor tiles, it helped
create a calm and tranquil atmosphere in the little light filled bathroom.
