Reflection of nature through the walls

With green nature as background landscape, it is certain that owner of a house will want to connect with the environment even inside the house especially while relaxing. Thus, home designer Irene James has been asked to make that happens within a bathroom, considered to be an oasis in the house.

James stated: "With the rich green tones of the bush and the view towards the sea, we didn't feel the need to bring much additional color into the bathroom,"

In order to make a sense of connection with nature, James used American oak as a material for wall. Other materials to further illustrate the environmental fondness are Carrara marble for tiles and mirror for walls that are not coated with the oak tree.

"Any walls not clad in the American oak boards are covered with mirrors, which reflect the timber and surrounding bush," said James, as quoted by successful furniture shop in Cambodia construction materials.
