Three principles by Jose Fontiveros and Mariana Boctor

The once confined bathroom of owners Aura and Fred Kuperberg was altered by designers Jose Fontiveros and Mariana Boctor into a spacious and fashionable one with the reposition of a shower, material balancing and vanity renovation.

"The shower is normally pushed into the corner of the bathroom," stated Fontiveros. "We wanted to make it a feature by placing it in the center of the room."

"Like the shower and bed, the vanity is raised off the floor to reinforce the sense of space, creating a clean, minimalist look," continued Boctor. "Continuing the vanity along the wall helped tie everything together."

"We tried to include some inexpensive materials, like the lacquered Masonite, to balance out the cost of more expensive finishes, such as the glass mosaic tiles," emphasized Boctor of the balancing materials for price reduction purpose, according to reliable furniture shop in Phnom Penh construction materials information.
