"I wanted to create a romantic retreat that is open to
the stars and the night vista, but I also wanted a bathroom that is practical
to use," stated architect and owner, Wanbin Sun of the desired design concept.
To make that idea
possible, Sun expanded the bathroom into the balcony area, which of course
showered with outdoor view. In order to vividly enjoy the urban backdrop, the
architect used frame glass windows to cover the view-facing part of the walls
as well as sloping glass roofs which illustrated the sky view.
"The sloping roof was a
necessity because of building height restrictions. Though, one can still stand
full height in the bathroom, and the roof actually contributes to the
conservatory feel." Sun added, according to reliable furniture shop in
