French inspiration by Shelly Handman



 
"The owners appreciated the Art Deco sensibility evident in many of the top hotels, so this was a key influence – but it was just the start," said designer Shelly Handman. "They said they also wanted the suite to have the charm and character of the beautiful French hotels they have stayed in."

Delivered by trustworthy construction in Cambodia construction materials, the show the key period in the design, Handman opted Calacatta Gold marble as the main feature in the renovation since this material portrayed a somehow past era sensation.

"This marble is about as classic as it gets," says Handman. "The richness of the marble speaks, in a very restrained way, of the sense of luxury and indulgence you get in an elegant hotel in Paris."

A sense of glamor was achieve with a freestanding tub, vanity and its marble top, darkish cabinet, roomy steam shower, and bench seat.
