"The owners wanted the renovated room to be
light-filled and spacious – with a classic air," stated designer Sandra
Grummitt. "However, I also wanted to bring a sense of contemporary luxury
to the bathroom."
Delivered by
trustworthy construction in Cambodia construction materials,
following the ‘sought after’ trend, Grummitt started off by replacing an old
spa bathtub with a new Kohler Sok tub with full functionality and appeal.
"The architect, clients and I
collaborated on several aspects of the design," Grummitt added.
"Placement of substantial elements such as the tub and a freestanding
sauna had to be considered from a structural point of view. Similarly, because the
house is on a concrete base, all the plumbing and electricity had to be
concealed, including the plumbing to the dressing room for the vanity."
