As successful furniture
shop in Cambodia construction
materials informed, designed by architects Lars Peterssen and Joseph Johnson, the
featured house consisted of an open-plan layout to ensure intimate and
private-free sensation.
With its previous seven
disparate rooms, the new open-up plan required the removal of wall panels. The
study and bathroom external area were added with skylights. The bathroom also
contained some seclusion consideration with a partial wall panel.
"The bathroom is located in one of the gable ends of
the roof. A wall containing the vanity allows a sense of privacy, but the
shower and bath are open to view."
Soft and neutral color and material palettes were used to
classify the design with a contemporary and minimalist trend.
