As successful furniture
shop in Cambodia construction
materials informed, under designer’s Carolyn Thomas revision, the
featured bathroom had an elegant style as well as decorum.
Using neutral shades, a soft and dramatic effect were
achieved in the design. Moreover, having placed the bathtub in front of the
symmetrical windows, that area was now the center stage in the room. Hence, the
space between the windows also mattered in the design.
"I wanted something special for the space between the
windows," said Thomas. "But I didn't want a painting. Looking through
a tile catalogue, I found a selection of mosaic murals, and I knew that was the
perfect choice."
"It's certainly not as complicated to install as it
looks," she stated. "It takes a little more time and patience than
laying single-color tiles, of course, but we used a good tile-setter, and it
went without a hitch."
"It no longer needs to be hidden away," added the
designer. "Now, the master bathroom fits with the rest of the house, and
is a real showpiece."
