materials, per request, designer Katrina Luxton designed the featured
kitchen to cater a quirkiness and bold statement that demonstrates a cheery
atmosphere.
"The clients sought a practical but colourful space
that would be hard wearing, with plenty of storage," she said. "They
also wanted an island bench that could adapt on a daily basis, according to the
family's needs."
Luxton was also requested to maximize the outdoor greenery
of native bush. Hence, the designer chose a full-fledged window that also acts
as a splashboard. "Now the family
can look out on the bush from any seat in the kitchen, making this space a real
retreat."
