Provided by notable
furniture in Cambodia construction
materials, the presented kitchen by designer Elina Katsioula-Beall is designed to
fit with a modern lifestyle and a display of contrastingly flamboyant tones.
The designer firstly opted for the cobalt blue thermofoil
cabinetry that set off the design initiation. "But with such vibrant blue
cabinetry, we had to provide a strong antagonist, hence the stainless steel.
However, we had to give it more territory than simply providing stainless steel
appliances, so stainless steel also features on the cooking centre benchtop,
oven side cabinets and toekicks." said the designer.
To contradict the bold color of blue, green tones is
introduced in a glass splashback while Walls and the sink benchtops are formed
in white color.
The timber floor finishes the design. "The oak floor
balances the coolness of these elements," added Katsioula-Beall. "It
also provides a little texture that teases the seriousness of the squeaky-clean
material palette."
