As successful furniture
shop in Cambodia construction
materials informed, designed by Clive Champion, the featured
kitchen possess a strong visual consistency with the flow of the house.
"In terms of layout, the room has not changed
greatly," said Champion. "We stripped out tired beech veneer cabinets
built a decade ago and replaced them with lacquered minimalist versions."
"All the appliances are integrated, and recessed
aluminum box-grip handles are in keeping with the minimalist aesthetic of the
lacquered cabinetry," Champion continued.
"The kitchen area connects to the living area, dining
area, the rear French doors and a corridor," Champion stated. "This
centralized design works well as a family kitchen, with ample work surfaces and
everything to hand."
"At the same time, it doesn't
interfere with the open-plan room's sense of space."
The spotlight of the kitchen is the two tones of black and
white island pared back together to form a center piece in a traditional-style
room.
