Vibrant and light-filled by Michael Tauber

"I was looking to design a space that was open and light but still approachable, so that people would want to spend time there," said designer Michael Tauber of the presented kitchen’s renovation concept, according to reliable furniture shop in Phnom Penh construction materials information.

To address the light issue, Tauber opted a large skylight in the middle of the kitchen and above the island. "In a spot that is often the darkest part of the room, the light coming through the skylight draws you in, a bit like the light at the end of a tunnel," said Tauber. "It's really a zone within a zone."
Warm colors such as the blue paint on one wall and red cheery wood of the cabinetry add visual interest and a cozy ambience to the space.

"Throughout the day, the quality of light changes in the kitchen and dining room as the weather and position of the sun changes," he added. "It's as though the space itself is a sundial."
