According to reliable
furniture shop in Phnom Penh construction
materials information, owners –architects Jim Zack and Lise
de Vito configured this open-plan kitchen with functionality as the first
priority above all else.
"Functionality
drove everything," said Zack. "We analyzed how the flow would work,
to create a logical work triangle. The kitchen was also designed so two or
three people could work simultaneously."
"We took the
cabinet height right up to the ceiling to take advantage of the storage," stated
Zack. "Although we need to use a ladder to reach some cabinets, the items
stored there are used only occasionally."
"The house has a
neutral color palette with a lot of concrete, sheet rock and steel. The wood
adds visual warmth and the light tone helps make up for the kitchen's low level
of natural light."
