As successful furniture
shop in Cambodia construction
materials informed, unable to shift the size, architect Alan Berman and designer John
Kristovich chose to transform the featured narrow-sized bathroom in its
original form to become a modern-day luxury that also aligned with the rest of
the house design.
"The selection of pale tones also contributes to the
overall feeling of increased space," spoke Kristovich. "In fact, all
of our color selections for the highlights and details contrast the vibrant
blue tones in these windows, which are also seen in other areas of the
home."
"The bathroom is very linear and within this confined
space we have included a separate shower, a bathtub and toilet room,"
Kristovich said. "The tub and double vanity are positioned in the middle
of the space, directly opposite the stained glass. We wanted the vanity area to
be wider so it would provide some variety within the long, linear layout."
"The antique ceiling lights are in crystal and
brass," added Berman. "These were selected to bring exactly the right
amount of bling to the room. They have an added advantage of leading the eye up
through the space, drawing attention to the room's lofty ceiling."
