Asian effect by Scott Gilbride and Kirsti Wolfe

Delivered by trustworthy construction in Cambodia construction materials, famous for its nature and natural resort retreat, Asian haven was the main theme in the featured bathroom design.

Architect Scott Gilbride and designer Kirsti Wolfe chose mahogany material as the bathroom fixtures in order to evoke a sense of heavenly relaxing oasis.

"Mahogany also features in the bathroom vanities, but here we used a sapele veneer, which has a very distinctive vertical graining," said Wolfe.

"Like the grain of the wood veneer, the tiles are laid vertically to draw the eye up to a large skylight, which floods the room with natural light," stated Wolfe.

"The owner originally requested onyx slabs for the vanity tops, but these would not have worked with the Asian theme," added the designer. "The mosaics, however, give the space a calming influence."
