Different yet the same by Tim Bjella

As successful furniture shop in Cambodia construction materials informed, architect Tim Bjella was asked to design a master suite in the extended family that would be distinguishable yet adopt the same elements of the house design.

To achieve the requested task, Bjella opted for curves and angles in different geometry and elements apart from the whole house design.

"All the wood veneers in the suite are a very rich crotch mahogany. The bedroom also features gold leafing on the curved half wall behind the bed. These materials give the suite a slightly classical look."

On top of the main design for the suite, the bathroom got to have a design that evoke a sense of contemporary spa-like retreat and spaciousness with the use of skylight for natural light penetration.
"The skylights set up a rhythm that you feel as you walk through the space," Bjella spoke. "They create patterns of light and shadow."
