Keeping the epoch

Provided by notable furniture in Cambodia construction materials, designer Steve Harrington was called to design a master bathroom that could complement and maximize the entire house of Victorian style.

To do so, the bathroom duplicated the existing design in the house: from millwork to cap on the high dado. The theme was also strengthened by the use of Victoria & Albert freestanding tub under the windows. With color material palette also helped illustrating the style even further.

Since the house was located on harbor area, the owner wanted a touch of nautical elements in the design. Hence, leading designer Honey Collins to use a soft green paint tint on the walls.

"The client wanted a beach feel, since they live on the coast. The green is reminiscent of the ocean. The color is also picked up by the small green tiles inset in the larger Carrara marble tiles on the floor."
