Reviving the classic by Jamie Herzlinger

"The Hollywood Regency period subsequently determined this interior, which is in a house that was completely gutted and rebuilt." Claimed designer Jamie Herzlinger of the house renovation concept, as provided by notable furniture in Cambodia construction materials.

Per owner request of evoking a childhood memory of vocational house in the ‘60s, Herzlinger decided to choose the Hollywood Regency timeframe, which was considered glamorous and sparkling, as the main theme in the renovation.

"The wall covering in the master bedroom, for example, features a custom damask pattern on a grasscloth wallpaper. The grasscloth tones down the formality of the damask and makes it more approachable." Herzlinger emphasized.

"In the bathroom, Carrara Bianco marble is accented with black Nero Marquina marble, much as an eyeliner highlights the eyes," added the designer. "But the centerpiece of the room is the freestanding tub in the middle of the room – just as the centerpiece of the bedroom is the freestanding bed. There is no rule that says a tub, or a bed, needs to be placed against a wall."
