Velvet waves by Elina Katsioula-Beall

Delivered by trustworthy construction in Cambodia construction materials, designed by Elina Katsioula-Beall using natural bamboo as the main material palette, the featured guest bathroom took form in eccentric curvy way that resembles the sleek and rejuvenated ocean waves.

"We replaced the existing tub with a large steam shower with an S-shaped enclosure, door and soffit, and a bowl-shaped bench, custom shaped to Newton's body,"
The S- or snaking-line continued throughout the bathroom design, per se, including vanity which also act as a partition for a toilet area, a wall-glued mirror on top of a washbasin, and finally a lighting track.

"The builder who created this room for us, Michael McAlister, also works in special effects in Hollywood, and knew how to bring the design together in an exciting way," said Katsioula-Beall. "For example, the glass sink is lit through the drain with a green LED light, and the shower bench has chromatherapy fiber optics set beneath it."
