A super-saving house by Jonothan Grose

As successful furniture shop in Cambodia construction materials informed, worshipping eco-friendly environment, owner of this quirky house asked designer Jonothan Grose for a sustainable sources throughout the process of the construction.
As reported, the designer reduced the carbon outline of the previous design and feasibly opted for the local materials as well as a selection of standard 600mm modules to cut down wasteful junks and minimalize the budget as well.
"The house itself has a steel and concrete framework, with very little wood used in the structure," the designer said. "This gives the interior an art gallery quality – the owners had seen a gallery built on similar lines."
"We wanted a grain that would stand out," the designer said. "The dark patches in the timber were the areas of dead wood in the original tree."
"There is also a place for everything, so clutter can be kept hidden away."
