According to reliable
furniture shop in Phnom Penh construction
materials information, to make the space works to its fullest
potential, designer Morgan
Cronin decided to remove the obstacles and make the featured kitchen look sleek
with high-end functionality.
"There were some constraints, such as the full-height
window on the rear external wall, which had a symmetrical relationship with the
front elevation of the house," said Cronin. "However, we were able to
move two partitioning walls – allowing the scullery entry to align with the
rear window and contribute to the symmetry in the kitchen."
"While this led the layout, the aesthetic of the
kitchen is dominated by the all-stainless steel island, with a breakfast bar
attached."
"The mass of shiny alloy draws the eye, chimes with the
refrigerator and contributes to the light-filled nature of the greater
space," added Cronin. "The attached seating area is finished in
bead-blasted, heavily grained oak – bringing a solid, ageless appeal to the
design. This material is repeated in the floor-to-ceiling cabinetry and
cupboards above and below the cooking area."
