materials, decorative space needs a lot of specs and details.
And the featured bathroom designed by architect Ron Robinette reflects this mantra with heavy-beamed ceiling
and arched windows combine with rustic color palettes and other antique
decorative accessories that produces a dramatic touch.
"The bathroom needed to be large enough to accommodate
all these elements," he spoke. "By positioning the vanities, closets
and toilets at opposite ends, we were able to devote the space in the middle to
the bathing area, introducing a formal symmetry to the room."
"Travertine marble has a lot of dramatic impact – the
veining produces a wonderful textured look," the architect stated.
"The challenge was to ensure that the detailing was neither too little,
nor too much."
Robinette also added that the paint on the ceiling provides
a further luxurious and glamorous ambience.
