just as every design is different in look, personal preference from designers
are also varied.
For designer Hans Schuon,
Corian is his preferred surface in most of his designs. "Corian Aubergine
has the look of a particulate substrate, not unlike granite," said Schuon.
"It has some very light, almost white, veining that enhances the muted,
gray-brown background."
"I particularly
like the coved backsplashes that are possible with this material," he
stated. "The Corian seamless look is another benefit. If there is a need
for seams, they are inconspicuous."
"It is very easy
to care for. It won't stain easily, and it's renewable – scratches or knife
cuts can be simply sanded away to leave the countertops like new."
