Hardwearing look by Robyn Labb

According to reliable furniture shop in Phnom Penh construction materials information, the brief from owner of the featured kitchen was a space that would accentuate the strong, industrial look of modern appliances which take center stage in the kitchen.

"These appliances are large and have a masculine aesthetic. The kitchen was expanded to take up the whole room – before renovating it was in one corner. Enlarging the kitchen helps integrate the appliances into the space, and the rest of the design is kept simple to give it a streamlined look," said Labb.

"Existing architectural detailing, such as uneven ceiling and window heights, had to be factored in. So instead of placing cabinets above the cooktop ventilation, I decided that a strip of stainless steel along a wall of tiles would look cleaner, and relate visually to the shine of the freestanding range," she added.
