Provided by notable
furniture in Cambodia construction
materials, the featured kitchen was designed to inherit the
rusty-style of the house in a neutral and monochromatic profile.
Creamy white color is
the predominant element in the design. For instance, the cabinetry and overhead
cupboards are in this accent and feature exposed paneled doors and drawers
which are the reminiscent of a classical design. The black-painted countertops provide
an industrial workspace. The chandeliers, faucets, and limestone floor tiles
also contribute to the old-world ambience.
The central,
freestanding island serves as both food prep and entertaining zone. Made from
chocolate solid wood with high-gloss granite countertop in yellow and white
specks, the island contains an open shelving that houses books and other
accessories. The seating also provide a sense of antiquity.
