Regency-style refinish by Alyson O'Hanlon

Provided by notable furniture in Cambodia construction materials, this spacious and traditional kitchen was revamped by designer Alyson O'Hanlon.

While it needs to be sympathetic to a Regency-style home, the kitchen also has to answer the equal aesthetic with everything at hand.

The designer opted a monochromatic look for the cabinetry. It features hand-painted in situ, in a custom green, and ornamented with gold-leaf moldings which repeated in the interior edge of the door panels, the Regency pilasters, and the display cabinets.

"The result is a kitchen that literally glitters," said O'Hanlon. "It's an opulent look that complements the rest of the home's interior."
