Provided by notable
furniture in Cambodia construction
materials, this spacious and traditional kitchen was revamped
by designer Alyson O'Hanlon.
While it needs to be
sympathetic to a Regency-style home, the kitchen also has to answer the equal
aesthetic with everything at hand.
The designer opted a
monochromatic look for the cabinetry. It features hand-painted in situ, in a
custom green, and ornamented with gold-leaf moldings which repeated in the
interior edge of the door panels, the Regency pilasters, and the display
cabinets.
"The result is a
kitchen that literally glitters," said O'Hanlon. "It's an opulent
look that complements the rest of the home's interior."
View is maximize with a
big, old-style window.
