As successful furniture
shop in Cambodia construction
materials informed, a joined project between designers
Heather Hungeling, Melinda Barber and, Dan Fitchett, the featured kitchen
boosts extravagance and complexity which complement the rustic-style design of
the house.
Made almost entirely
from historic honey oak, the kitchen has several key features for integrity.
The rustic ambience was introduced with bead board and turned legs of the cabinetry,
farmhouse sink, outdated hearth, barley-twist pilasters, and spindles on wall
cabinets.
Functionality is
assured with an addition of a central island with a butcher’s block at one end
while another has a sunken, baking counter. In the middle, a food prep surface
with a sink provide further practicality.
The tone in the space
is almost unicolor except for the blue-painted cabinets which provide a
streamlined look.
