Black scope by Dave Strudwick

As successful furniture shop in Cambodia construction materials informed, to ensure that the space look streamlined despite its modest-sized area, owner-designer Dave Strudwick has decided to aim for dark tone in his material palette.

"The sink is black engineered stone and the benchtops are in a similar material. A black hob and black glass splashback also feature. The dark wood cross beams provide a connection between the kauri ceiling and the kitchen."

"There is a balancing element in the living area – a jet-black, raised fireplace," he stated.
The room’s walls are in contrasting white color to soften the masculine and bold nature of the design.
