As successful furniture
shop in Cambodia construction
materials informed, the featured kitchen is designed with
great care of lighting sources.
"To lighten the area, I had the ceiling and walls
painted white and added cabinets and solid marble benchtops in the same tone.
The grey-veined stone picks up the white of the main cabinetry and connects
with the stained oak veneer of the tall wall cabinets and the under-bench
island cabinetry." said designer Keith Sheedy.
"Besides specifying shiny
surfaces, I also created a long, horizontal window to draw in additional
natural light. This also acts as a splashback."
"The walk-in scullery offers valuable storage and generous work surfaces," said Sheedy. "And a cool room brings the added flexibility that's essential when catering for groups, large and small."
"The stained oak cabinets connect with the architectural joinery, such as the French doors and window surrounds. This tall bank of cabinetry, which includes a built-in pantry, has open shelves at one end, a way of linking the work and entertaining areas."
