Contemporary and connected by Christine Julian



"The owners wanted their new kitchen to have a more contemporary look, and more importantly, to connect better with the living spaces," said designer Christine Julian of the desired concept for remodeling the above kitchen, as delivered by trustworthy construction in Cambodia construction materials.

All of the barriers in the room were removed so that the kitchen now conjoined with the rest of the living area and appeared larger with enough natural light from windows at both ends of the house.

Dark rift-sawn oak cabinetry teamed with light-colored granite countertops to provide a modern profile. The white-painted maple, open shelves acted as overhead storage which also display dishware

"Changing the materials helps to define the boundaries of the kitchen and reinforces the breakfast bar as a place to eat," added Julian.
