Invisible aesthetic by Doug Durbin

According to reliable furniture shop in Phnom Penh construction materials information, this sleek, warm, and subtle kitchen was the work of designer Doug Durbin.

Durbin teamed American black walnut and ecologically recycled white oak with stainless steel and glass tiles to provide a modern sensibility which derives from both European and Asian design.

"Everything about the space is calm; it lets the aesthetic quality of the materials make their own statement, rather than depending on fussy ornamentation," said Durbin.

"This kitchen is all about details – details that whisper to you, rather than shout. For example, the placement of the tall bookcase, and its interplay with the ceiling, brings an axis that balances the entire design."
