Less obvious by Myra Hoefer

Provided by notable furniture in Cambodia construction materials, the brief for the renovation of the featured kitchen was a space that would complement the historical footage of the house yet meet the need of a modern family lifestyle.

"The idea behind the kitchen is that cabinetry appears to be furniture. We did not want the room to look too much like a kitchen,"

White color helps blend the space with the rest of the interior design. This accent feature in the whole space including walls, cabinetry, butcher's block, window frames and trims, floor, and countertops.

The black framed mirror and stainless steel appliances help reduce the overly clinical feel of the space while windows allow light to get through which further lighten the kitchen’s warmness.
