Reflecting the history by Jennifer Gilmer

According to reliable furniture shop in Phnom Penh construction materials information, the ultimate design of a refined kitchen is a space that is not only suit the family lifestyle, but also reflect the overall aspect of the interior theme. Even for a historical home, this concept is still apply which means modern functionality is less obvious as the featured kitchen illustrates.

"The homeowners wanted a family kitchen that felt warm and welcoming – almost a cottage kitchen," said designer Jennifer Gilmer. "But this house has a certain formality. It's a typical large, older home with a big wrap-around front porch."

Gilmer response was soapstone countertops and sinks as a contrast for owner’s request of creamy white painted cabinets. A busy feel displayed with open shelving that houses supplies and dishware as well as traditional-style fittings and fixtures contribute to the bygone era while modern appliances is still intact in the space.
