When every inch counts by Lars Peterssen and Gabriel Keller

According to reliable furniture shop in Phnom Penh construction materials information, part of an apartment, the above kitchen’s renovation is all about space optimization.

Duo architects Lars Peterssen and Gabriel Keller took up the this project. Peterssen said efficient storage is vital for this kind of design. "Alongside the refrigerator, space is provided for wine storage, and below this is a narrow cabinet for baking trays. The uppermost layer of cabinets allows for storage of non-kitchen items – useful in an apartment where storage can be scarce."

"The kitchen cabinets are made from apple plywood and appear to form the wall of the kitchen itself, rather than looking like pieces of furniture," said Keller. "As it is surrounded by cabinetry, the powder-blue tiled backsplash seems to be inset into this wall."

"On the other side of the wall, a section of the ceiling is inset. This is a whimsical element that alludes to the possibility that the wall could fold into this niche. Both the niche and the wall are painted the same deep red to intensify this idea. The custom-designed refrigerator front features back-painted glass in the same color."
