furniture in Cambodia construction
materials, designed by architect Duane Stone and designer Susan Howell Branch,
the featured master suite was derived from classical French artistic elements
combined with a contemporary sensation.
To make the room looked
like a classical French chateau, they applied French green tones for the
paneling.
"These shades appear in the antique doors and in the
rug, which has patterns and colors that are authentic to the Empire
period," says Branch. "The rug was also designed to soften visually
the grand and rather masculine antique Empire bed – a piece the owners had
found already."
Influence by the period of French evolution, the finishes in
the designed adopted an exquisite antique-like style with subtle color palettes
that portrayed the richness in the design.
