According to reliable
furniture shop in Phnom Penh construction
materials information, designer Antoinette Fraser was commissioned
to renovate the featured kitchen with a theme of the glamorous1930s Hollywood
style.
"The owners already had a collection of Barbara Barry
Baker furniture in that 1930s style," Fraser said. "This provided the
inspiration for a glamorous 1930s Hollywood look. The rich chocolate and white
palette, for example, is highly evocative of this era."
"Rather than go with the trend for a dark island and
white perimeter cabinetry, we chose to reverse the look. We color-matched the
Baker furniture's Java stain for the perimeter cabinets. White-painted maple on
the upper cabinets provides a bold contrast and accentuates the owners' bone
china collection."
